I have a wonderful hobby. It’s beading and I have a website where I share some of my designs. It’s a work in progress so bear with me. Also, you can share your designs too, and I’ll make sure you get credit.

Today I’m a little sad because my son and his new wife are moving for San Francisco for at least a few years. My husband and I have opened a savings account to visit them soon. It is such a beautiful city and I’m sure they will love it and we would love to see it too.

The Olympics August 28, 2008
I love watching the Olympics on TV, but I haven’t been able to catch any of the horse events. I really enjoy watching the cross-country, jumping, and dressage events.

I created a Flickr account, but haven’t had a change to play with it yet. A friend created a mosaic made from a pic of himself. It was really cool and I asked him to show me how he did it, which he did. I can’t wait to try it for myself.
Technology
I love technology, but fear that it is moving faster and faster and I won’t be able to keep up. Already I hear that so and so got a new shuffle or iPod. I don’t have one yet so already I’m behind. The future is bright for technology because it seems that imagination is the only limit as to what can be done. A friend told that in 10 years there will be no phone land lines. One of these days all we’ll have cellphones that do it all, computer to phone service. I hope it comes in my lifetime, but in the meantime I have to try to keep up. Wish me luck.
